Предлагает студентам и аспирантам наиболее непрактичные темы (они не меняются годами), видимо он в них разобрался и теперь как эксперт продвигает, пользуясь тем, что никакой конкуренции он не встретит на ультра-узком участке. На мой взгляд, это делает бесполезным учебу с ним.
