User Agreement

This Agreement defines the terms of use for Users of the materials and services of the website. https://professorrating.org/.

1. General Provisions

The use of materials and services on the site is governed by the norms of current legislation of England.

This Agreement is a public offer. By accessing the site materials, the User is considered to have joined this Agreement.

The rules are mandatory for all Users of this site. In case of violation of the rules, the site Administration reserves the right to restrict access to the site for the violator, including deleting all comments and ratings made by the User who violated the rules.

The site Administration has the right to unilaterally change the terms of this Agreement at any time without any special notification. Such changes take effect three (3) days after the new version of the Agreement is posted on the site. If the User disagrees with the changes, they must refrain from accessing the site and cease using the site materials and services.

2. Prohibited Actions

Violation of the requirements of current legislation of England (in particular, the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988) and the rules of this Agreement.

Posting comments and other records by the User on the site that violate the requirements of the legislation of England and generally accepted moral norms.

Demonstrating disrespect in any form towards Participants and Users of the site (insults, profanity, threats). Participants are required to maintain a respectful form of communication.

Dissemination of knowingly false information, including the use of any forms and methods of illegal representation of another person.

Demonstrating racial and national intolerance, propaganda of terrorism, extremism, drugs, and other topics incompatible with generally accepted laws of morality and decency.

Propaganda of pornography and child erotica, as well as advertising of intimate services.

Dissemination of viruses or other computer codes designed to disrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer or telecommunications equipment or programs, for unauthorized access, as well as serial numbers for commercial software products, logins, passwords, and other means to gain unauthorized access to paid resources on the Internet, as well as posting links to the above information.

Posting links to Internet resources whose content violates the requirements of current legislation of England.

Flooding — multiple postings of identical or slightly different messages, meaningless messages.

Posting other people's postal addresses, email addresses, ICQ numbers, phone numbers, passport data, and other personal information.

Publishing advertisements (including hidden) for personal websites, forums, offers of paid services, or other types of advertisements and commercial announcements.

Using the site as a bulletin board for posting personal messages addressed to a specific User.

Using a language other than English and a font other than Latin when communicating on the site. The site Administration has the right to edit or delete messages written in a language other than English and in a font other than Latin without prior notice.

Publicly making claims and discussing the actions of the site Administration.

Gaining access to the site services in a manner not provided by the Administration. Access to all sections and services of the site is granted exclusively through the web interface.

Disruption of the functioning of the site.

3. Publication of Information

When publishing personal information (position, academic degree, academic title, specialization, field of scientific interests, teaching experience, professional achievements, education, advanced training, additional information, contact information, personal website), the User agrees to provide the Administration of the site with reliable and accurate data. Publication of personal information is only available to the person whose information is being published.

Project participants submitting photographs agree that they are the direct owners of these photographs and do not object to their use on the Professor Rating site.

4. Other Conditions

All possible disputes arising from this Agreement or related to it shall be resolved in accordance with the current legislation of England.

Nothing in this Agreement may be construed as establishing agency relations between the User and the Administration of the site, partnership relations, joint venture relations, employment relationships, or any other relations not expressly provided for in the Agreement.

In accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018, the site Administration agrees to delete information about the subject of personal data at the request of the subject of personal data. Requests for deletion should be sent to the email address , subject of the letter: "Request to delete my page: Your Surname Name Patronymic." Your profile will be deleted from the site as soon as possible.

Recognition by the court of any provision of the Agreement as invalid or unenforceable does not affect the validity of other provisions of the Agreement.

The site Administration is not responsible for the text of comments and the accuracy of ratings left by Users. All claims and disputes from Participants and Users of the site are accepted via email at . The site Administration agrees to resolve issues regarding the deletion of comments that contradict the terms of this Agreement as soon as possible.

The site Administration may change or discontinue any service provided on the site at any time, including without prior notice to Users.

The site Administration is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, intentional, or unintentional damage, including damage to honor, dignity, or business reputation, caused in connection with the use of the site.

The site Administration is not directly and/or indirectly responsible for the consequences arising from the termination of access to services provided by the site due to the malfunction of one or more services as a result of a technical failure or due to preventive measures.

Pages of the site may contain links to other resources. The User agrees that the Administration is not responsible for the availability of such resources and/or their content, as well as for any consequences associated with the use of the content of these resources.

The User accepts the provision that all materials and services of the site or any part thereof may be accompanied by advertisements. The User agrees that the site Administration is not responsible for such advertisements and has no obligations related to them.

The User agrees that they use the services of the site at their own risk. All services of the site are provided "as is" without any guarantees. The Administration is not responsible for the non-compliance of the site services with the User's requirements.

Requests, suggestions, and complaints from Users regarding the operation of the site and violations of the rules of this Agreement are accepted via email to the site Administration.

The User confirms that they are familiar with all points of this Agreement and unconditionally accepts them.
