Валерий Аркадьеич в 1988 - 1990 г.г.работал в ОКБ "МЭЛЗ". Он показал себя как талантливый инженер в области информатики и вычислительной техники, а также как организатор работы большого коллектива отдела САПР. Этот "производственный" опыт пригодился ему как преподавателю МФТИ.
